* doc/misc/tramp.texi (Frequently Asked Questions):
Explain dired-check-symlinks.

* etc/NEWS: Describe dired-check-symlinks.
Fix typos.

* lisp/dired.el (dired-check-symlinks): New defcustom.
(dired-font-lock-keywords): Use it.  (Bug#73046)
