This is intended for modern init systems such as systemd, which manage many of the traditional aspects of daemon behavior themselves. (Bug#2677) * src/emacs.c (daemon_type): New integer. (usage, standard_args): Add --old-daemon and --new-daemon. (main): Handle --old-daemon and --new-daemon arguments. Restrict all the forking and complicated daemon stuff to old-daemon. * This directory contains the texinfo source files for the Emacs Lisp
Reference Manual.
* Report bugs in the Lisp Manual (or in Emacs) using M-x report-emacs-bug.

* The Emacs Lisp Reference Manual is quite large. It totals around
1100 pages in smallbook format; the info files total around 3.0 megabytes.
* You can format this manual for Info, for printing hardcopy using TeX,
