Lars Ingebrigtsen 30f5fa75da Remove call to string-as-unibyte in gnus-start.el 
* lisp/gnus/gnus-start.el (gnus-read-newsrc-el-file): Remove
string-as-unibyte call, which appears not to do anything much in
modern Emacsen.
