That is:
- TraceStart diagnostic showing chains, GenDescs, and PoolGens;
- TraceCreate calls traceCopySizes() to save a copy of each
GenDesc's newSize in a "newSizeAtCreate" field.

This was achieved by partially undoing changelist 24817, including an accidental corruption of eventgen.pl.
