Most of these fixes are to documentation; many involve fixing
longstanding quoting glitches that are independent of the

(image-dired-modify-mark-on-thumb-original-file):
Use `dired-goto-file' instead of `search-forward'. This solves
a bug with finding files where the file name is a subset of other
file names. Doc fix.
