29c98ed31c Recompile everything after updating various Lisp files. 
Recompile in leim as well as lisp.
Check in leim as well as lisp for mismatched files and too-long names.

7a6ee7aed8 (bogosities): Check subdirs of `lisp' also. 
(etc): Really avoid symlinks now.
(lisp): Don't delete from subdirs the things we never copy.

9174184175 Set up real-leim subdirectory, 
with the real contents of leim; then move it to
a separate top-level directory.

Initialize a `leim' subdirectory with leim-Makefile.in.

Don't mention site-lisp, site-init, site-start
or default, when listing files hat are not compiled and should be.

c75cfabd5a Use $EMACS to say where to run Emacs. 
Add --no-update option.

(copying src): Check thoroughly for symlinks
and copy them in all cases.  Regularize the linking of *.in
and *.opt and ChangeLog files.
(copying lib-src): Likewise.
Don't rm getdate.c or y.tab.*--they don't exist any more.
