5ac83f86e6 Rename lignux to linux-gnu in configuration names. 
Use gnu-linux as the opsys value (s/ file name).
Allow i686 just like i386, i486, i586.

(i*86-*-sco3.2v5): New alternative.
(OVERRIDE_CPPFLAG): New variable.
(CPPFLAGS): If OVERRIDE_CPPFLAG is set, use that.

Specify vpath for .texi files.

f7894e8820 Always check for HAVE_X11R5. 
Separately decide whether to use a toolkit by default.

If X11R5 is missing the Xaw headers, default to --with-x-toolkit=no.

(powerpc-*-solaris2*): Use ibmrs6000, not rs6000.

(HAVE_NCURSES): Look for library named ncurses.
(setlocale): Check for it.
(*-*-sysv4.2*): If no /usr/ccs/lib/cpp, use /lib/cpp.

(HAVE_X11XTR6): Set it as a shell variable.
