d5db40779d Most uses of XSTRING combined with STRING_BYTES or indirection changed to 
SCHARS, SBYTES, STRING_INTERVALS, SREF, SDATA; explicit size_byte references
left unchanged for now.

(syms_of_composite): Modified the doc-string of
Vcompose_chars_after_function.  Declare composition-function-table
as a lisp variable, and initialize it.
