602e142f5c (w32_read_socket) <WM_CHAR>: Decode characters outside 
the unicode range available in MULE by locale-coding-system.
Improve dbcs lead byte detection. Set event timestamp and modifiers

43b829c118 * (c-constant-symbol): New function which supersedes c-const-symbol. 
During a customize-.. call it enables an element of (e.g.)
c-hanging-braces alist to have its name displayed, even when the default
value of c-h-b etc. doesn't include the elemnt.  Replace uses of the old
function by the new.

* progmodes/cc-vars.el (c-hanging-braces-alist): Remove the obscure
non-working fragment ":value c-".

e177606792 (verilog-mode-map): Don't bind C-M-a, 
C-M-e and C-M-h for emacs, they work by default.
(verilog-emacs-features): Remove.
(verilog-setup-dual-comments, verilog-populate-syntax-table):
Remove.  Move syntax table initialization ...
(verilog-mode-syntax-table): ... here.
(verilog-mode): Don't initialize the syntax table here.
(verilog-mark-defun): Only do something useful for XEmacs, emacs
does not need it.
