It's hardcoded to return t for symbols that end in any of '-command', '-frame-alist', '-function', '-functions', '-hook', '-hooks', '-form', '-forms', '-map', '-map-alist', '-mode-alist', '-program', or '-predicate' -- which I think is excessive next to a safety check.
